With temperatures reaching the high 30’s (95+ Fahrenheit), a good portion of Australia flocked to the beach yesterday to cool down. I was among them. We fired up the BBQ, threw on some sausages and broke out a few drinks to celebrate the weekend.
There was some curiosity as I opened my Eski and pulled out my bottle of freshly made cold brew Matcha. Because Matcha is still relatively unknown to many in Australia, I had to do some explaining, but once I shared it around it became an instant hit.
The ice cold Matcha was the perfect way to cool down and stay hydrated. I only wish I had made 2 bottles instead.
Quantity: 1 litre of cold brew Matcha. Serve chilled.
If you're really in a hurry, you can simply put the Matcha in a bottle, fill it with water and shake vigorously until it dissolves. This will be totally fine, but you may not be able to dissolve all the Matcha, so might get some clumping towards the bottom. For best results, follow the directions below.
Here's a handy video on how to make an iced matcha using one of our blender bottles.
